Over ten years experience in academic and industry work environment has provided a wide range of technical expertise and skills. Consultancy services provided by our company include:

- Geochemistry: geochemical studies using isotope techniques. Basin maturation and thermal history reconstructions are provided using low temperature thermochronology (fission track analyses and (U-Th)/He dating). Rock-fluid interactions or reservoir fluid tracing can be developed using noble gas (eg Helium) or stable (Carbon, Oxygen or Hydrogen) isotopes. Services provided include data acquisition and interpretation, data QA/QC.

- Geological modelling: developing of 3D geocellular models of subsurface reservoirs. Models are developed for oil & gas reservoirs, water aquifers, or CO2 storage projects. Industry standard software (eg Petrel) is used.

- Regional geological studies: characterisation of regional (sub)surface geology for O&G exploration. Consultancy services include the development of regional structural or stratigraphic frameworks, basin evolution and reconstruction, evaluation of hydrocarbon/source rock potential on basin wide scale. Reports can be authored summarising existing (published) literature for unexplored areas of interest.

Consultancy project will be taken on base of matching expertise and can range from a month to multiple months. In cooperation with the client, it can be discussed if on-site consultancy at the client’s office is required, or done remotely from the SakhraGeo office.

Although we are based in the Netherlands, our services and technical expertise have been called upon by various international players. Clients for which we successfully have conducted work include Qatar Petroleum, Shell E&P, Nectaerra and Utrecht University.
